As a 501(c) nonprofit organization, LDCRF is dependent upon donations. All contributions go directly to providing care for our rescued animals. We do not receive funding from any organization or humane society...all support comes from the generosity of individuals like you. Your tax-deductible donation will help defray the costs associated with rescuing the dogs and cats.

$50 pays for an FIV/FeLV Combo test on a cat or a heartworm test on a dog

Monthly Giving Makes a Difference
Monthly giving provides a steady and cost effective source of income to LDCRF. Because your monthly donation is processed automatically, you help us reduce our costs, which allows us to save more cats and dogs.
How It Works
As a monthly donor, you will be registering to make a credit card donation (via PayPal) every month. After you make your initial donation, future donations will be automatically charged to your credit card. You can cancel/unsubscribe at anytime.

The Rebecca Porter Memorial Fund

Rebecca Porter was a dedicated LDCRF volunteer who embodied strength, generosity, courage, and good cheer. She donated her time and energy in whatever way she was asked, including as foster coordinator, foster, adopter, and by handling the paperwork table every Saturday. In her honor, LDCRF has created the Rebecca Porter Memorial Fund. Donations to the Fund will be used to treat dogs and cats needing special medical care, such as orthopedic surgeries, heartworm treatments, growth removals, amputations, and other special needs.

The Animal Rescue Site is hosting a special challenge for eligible Petfinder.com member shelter and rescue groups. The grand prize is a $10,000 grant, and they will be awarding many other grants to rescue groups with the most votes - a total of $100,000 in grants for animal welfare organizations.
